What I do with what you send me.
Last updated September 2026.
The contact form
The enquiry forms ask for your name, your email address and a description of your problem. The opportunity call form also asks for your business name and, optionally, your website. Your submission is emailed straight to me. I use it to reply, arrange a call where requested and work out whether I can help. I do not add you to a mailing list or sell your information.
The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have asked me to get in touch, and replying is the obvious consequence of that.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that turn into work are kept for as long as I am working with you, and for six years afterwards so I can answer questions about what I built. Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted after twelve months.
Who else sees it
The site runs on Laravel Forge infrastructure and email is delivered through the site's email provider. Both process data on my behalf and neither uses it for anything else.
Your rights
You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email mike@duskworks.co.uk and I will deal with it myself — there is nobody else to pass it to.
If you think I have handled your information badly you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
