The setup we deliver

Configured for you.
Handed over to you.

Hermes is an open-source AI agent from Nous Research. We deploy and configure it for your business, then show your team how to run it.

01 / Context

Start with what you know.

We create your baseline knowledge base and show you how to keep it current. Your expertise becomes the agent’s starting point.

02 / Connection

Use the tools you rely on.

We connect up to two agreed supported apps. We define the actions and access your agent needs, not just the names of the systems.

Explore the connection catalogue
03 / Control

Your judgement stays central.

Clear permissions, tested exceptions and a named human owner. We train your team and monitor the first four weeks of launch.

Start with one responsibility. Grow from evidence.

Keep building from here.

Learn to maintain your Hermes knowledge base, refine instructions and test changes. New systems or wider responsibilities are separately scoped.

What useful could look like

Less chasing.
More moving things forward.

Start with the outcome, not the technology. These four scenarios are starting points; your agent’s role is shaped around your business.

Illustrative scenarios, not client results. Scroll to explore.

  1. 01 / Sales

    A follow-up ready to send.

Turn an incoming enquiry into a useful brief, an updated CRM record and a drafted reply—so your salesperson can pick up the conversation.

    EmailCRM

Your team decides Pricing, promises and the message that goes out.

  2. 02 / Administration

    Records ready to work with.

Gather incoming documents, extract the agreed details and prepare an organised record. Missing information is flagged, not silently filled in.

    Document storageRecord system

Your team decides How to resolve gaps and approve sensitive changes.

  3. 03 / Reception

An enquiry with the right person.

Capture the reason for a call, answer agreed routine questions and pass on a clear summary. Give your team the context before they call back.

    TelephonyEmail

Your team steps in For urgent, unusual or sensitive requests.

  4. 04 / Customer support

    A reply ready for review.

Bring together the customer’s question, account context and approved guidance. Prepare a response or route the issue to the colleague who can help.

    HelpdeskCRM

Your team decides Refunds, policy exceptions and sensitive responses.

Four possibilities, not four agents in one package. We agree one responsibility, its connections and approval boundaries for your launch.

Behind the outcome

A working environment.
Not just a chatbot.

We set up the software, knowledge and controls behind your agent. Your team gets a foundation it can use, maintain and build on.

How it works

From a recurring task
to a working agent.

We scope, install and configure Hermes, then train your team to own the setup.

  1. 01

    Agree the responsibility

Choose the job, the outcome and where a person stays involved. We'll check the systems and expected running costs.

  2. 02

    Install, configure and test

Deploy Hermes, build the knowledge base, connect the agreed tools and test normal work, exceptions and failures.

  3. 03

    Launch and hand over

Train your owner, document the setup and monitor runs, usage and agreed corrections for four weeks.

Most launches take 2–4 weeks, depending on scope, access and approvals.

Services & pricing

A clear place to start.

Know the job you want to hand over? Start with setup and launch. Need to work out what's worthwhile? Start with an audit.

Find the right opportunity

AI & automation audit

£999+ VAT
One-off audit

A practical plan for where AI or automation could make a worthwhile difference.

Explore the audit
  • Preparation and evidence review
  • Two-hour working session
  • Examine up to three workflows
  • Fully prioritise up to two opportunities
  • Concise findings and a practical 90-day roadmap
  • 45-minute findings and decision call

Paid before the workshop. Implementation is separate.

Running costs: Hosting, AI and provider usage are additional. Expected costs are agreed before launch. Client-owned accounts are used wherever practical.

Beyond the launch: Extra connections, responsibilities, extensive migration or content work, and custom or legacy integrations are separately scoped.

Connection scope, audit delivery and ongoing support

One supported connection covers one agreed set of actions in a catalogue app using a supported MCP server, managed integration or documented API. See the catalogue.

Audit delivery: Findings are delivered within 10 business days once the workshop and requested evidence are complete. The plan is yours to use with your own team, Duskworks or another supplier.

After handover: Routine maintenance has a named owner. Further support is separately agreed. The audit is optional when the launch responsibility and scope are already clear.

Client feedback

Good work. In their words.

Feedback from earlier software and process-improvement work.

“Writing summary reports for clients was slow and inconsistent. We now generate them straight from our business data — faster, and the quality doesn't drift.”

Steven RichfordManaging Director
Richfords Fire & Flood

“Postal delays and unsigned paperwork were capping our volumes. A custom signature flow brought on six months of clients in a single month, at near-zero cost per sign-up.”

Tony ShieldsCEO
Financial claims management

“Migrating every client document between CRMs was going to take weeks of manual work. Automated end to end, it took days.”

Before we talk

Good questions.
Straight answers.

More on the scope, the setup and what happens next.

Are we buying a Duskworks app?

No. Hermes is the underlying agent software, not a Duskworks product. We provide the deployment and configuration service: agreeing the responsibility, connecting tools, building the baseline knowledge base, testing and training your team. The £2,750 + VAT covers setup and launch, not a Duskworks software subscription.

Is this really an AI employee?

It is a useful metaphor for an AI agent with a defined responsibility, agreed permissions and a human owner. It is not a universal autonomous employee: it works inside the role and boundaries we agree.

Will it work with our existing software?

Compatibility is checked before scope is agreed. The launch includes up to two agreed, supported connections. Unsupported integration work or additional systems may need separate scoping.

Do we have to start with an audit?

No. When the responsibility, systems and approval boundary are already clear, we can scope your Hermes setup directly. The audit is useful when the right opportunity or approach is unclear.

What can we teach it later?

New knowledge and responsibilities can be added within supported capabilities, with review and testing. New systems, channels, sensitive actions or materially different responsibilities are separately agreed.

What will it cost to run?

Hosting, model usage, email, telephony and other provider costs vary with the responsibility and volume. We explain the expected operating costs before you commit, and use client-owned accounts wherever practical.

Who owns and maintains the setup?

The client owns the accounts, data and deployment wherever practical. We train a named owner to maintain the knowledge base, update instructions and test changes in Hermes. Handover includes operating documentation. Maintenance and support after the launch period are agreed separately.

What happens if it is uncertain or a connection fails?

The expected behaviour is agreed and tested. Uncertain cases are escalated, and a failed or unknown action must never be represented as successful.
